20's too big?

so i'm thinking about making the move to some bigger rims.. are 20's too big? I want the grey breyton cs's with the red lip.. i found them cheaper in the 20's than the 19s. would that be a mistake?

Mods as shown on Sara's car and a drop. Should get you started.

Edit: I think you should stick to 19's.. 20's are too big for the E90 IMO..

rims - help ASAP

I can actually get rims now, need to get 18"s.

It's between black Breyton GTS's or black and machined rial ravenna's.

Anyone seen either in person, or have any experiences with either company? Also, i dont know what would happen if i could curb rash with the Breytons; does the pain just come off leaving the rim silver?

I am buying them tomorrow, someone please help me make my mind up

If I was in your position....I would save up for some wheels while adding little inexpensive mods to the car (Grilles, tint, etc.). I'm not saying those wheels look bad, but some other wheels would fit your car a lot better. Especially in the color you want your wheels. Great taste!

In my opinion, 16's are a little small to be power coated. Unless you put springs on your car, it might look a little cheesy?
However do you work? If so save up a little money and invest on some wheels. BEST modification you can do to your car hands down.

please dont powdercoat your 16 inch wheels because its going to look like you get so much brake dust and you forgot to clean it

Congrats on your new ride, OP. I'd follow Sara's advice on modding. Can't go wrong with what she said. That being said, you should go for whitelines. Blacklines are played out.

I have black Breytons on my car and get soo many compliments on them, I think they would be a good choice, 18's would look perfect on an E90

Black Matte Grills. Little mod that makes a BIG difference in the front end.
$70
(excuse the bugs)

For the headlights:
Black Amber Gone Vinyl Overlays. Gives the car a kinda of sassy appearance in rear view mirrors.
$30

Tail Lights: Really sexes up the back end. Compliments the curves of the car.
Blacklines OEM $230. Then sell you stocks for $200 to a BMW Repair Shop. Out of pocket cost $30.

Chrome Tip exhaust: Ask your Tech at BMW for spares lying around. Cost Free.

pic in post above.

Then a nice set of staggered wheels to make the car look more aggressive and have the girls heads turn.
and you get

All total less than $2,000.00
+1 sara knows whats up... listen to her...
