Who installed their own coilover or springs?

Hey folks, just want to see how difficult it is to install coilover on the E90. I'm looking to do it myself with a friend or two. We've done everything from Audi's to Honda's to Nissan's.

I assume that everything is pretty much the same, several bolts on top by the pillow mount and a bigger bolt that holds the strut in place behind the rotor?

And where can we access the rear struts? Is it behind the lining in the trunk or is it in the car, behind the backseats, by the rear window?

Thanks

Matt, I would gladly take you up on your service, but I can't even work in my own parking spot since the condominium management is strict about working on cars here.

I was goign to go to my friend's house where we've done turbo installs, o2 housing, donwpipe, uppipe, intake, suspension, sway bars, etc.

From all the cars we've done so far, they all seem to be pretty basic. I just want to get an idea on my head on the BMW before we start so we don't run into any unknown problems.

This is good to know... I was also wondering if BMW did something strange unlinke any other company when it came to the suspension. Looks like it will be nice and straight forward.
