Exclamation ABS brake sign in red showed up?

Yesterday, after trying to get out of the snow, the ABS and brake sign in red showed up? Strangely enough, the "seatbelt+airbag" in red sign showed up too.

Any idea what the ABS and brake sign is for? I'm driving on a used '07 with 33,000 miles, and only got it from a dealer in june. The parts shouldn;t be failing that soon, right?

I have no idea why the seatbelt sign showed up either. Seatbelts were fine until I started my car, tried getting out of the snow. Not sure what the sign has to do with anything. As for the ABS, did too much pressure from being unable to escape the snow cause it to fail? I reversed and went forward many times, and applied the brake each time. I'm guessing that might have caused the problem?
