Yeah, the timing is an issue also. I did an ED in 2007 and want to get rid of my current car before the original warranty ends.

I figure if I do a 2-3 year lease as opposed to purchase this time around, I should be able to time it so I can get the new F32 (?) coupe when it's released in 2012 or 2013.

I don't really have any desire to mod my car, so the 335is sounds perfect. However, the M3 is so close in price, and ED invoice is lower than MSRP I have about 100,000 frequent flier miles to use up, so this is perfect for me.

The 335is is BMW putting some showy bits on the car and increasing the 335's performance in the one area where the 335 was already very strong--straight-line acceleration.

It would have been better if they added some suspension bits or maybe brakes. Or the LSD, of course.

I saw in one of the photos, amidst the 300+ from autospies, that there was some kind of ///m suspension added.

I'd imagine, if it's there, it'd be similar to that of the ZHP's suspension from the e46 chasis.

I hope there's some kind of suspension upgrade factory...there's nothing sporty about the stock sport suspension-

The 335is will be available in either coupe (base MSRP $50,525) or convertible (base MSRP $59,075 - ouch!) body styles.

truth but that kind of stuff is reserved for the M's. You do that to this car and then there is no need/market for the M3

lol - 100% same as me! I have a pile of Delta SkyMiles

After modding this 335 (well worth it, she's quick), I'm kind of to the point where I want to just buy a car with 400 HP (M3) or just be happy. Tuning is GREAT FUN, but it's a horrible addiction at the same time and you're never really happy. The car was the fastest thing on the planet when I picked it up, now even with 330 HP (~390 at the crank) it's somehow not good enough which is dumb. The whole draw of the 335is is it still has the N54 but upgraded support systems (cooling) and DCT for me is something I've always wanted in my current car.

Who knows, I might see ya out there

To be completely honest, driving my 335i stock for awhile was still a damn treat.

Lol you never know! This time around I'm not making the mistake of doing ED during winter, that's for sure. And I can't wait to do it at the Welt instead of the old, ghetto ED center from years past

Not a fan of all the extra badges, new headlights, or the black mirrors. The badges on the fenders and dash trim look terrible.
Why can't they do a performance package with some class instead of it looking like some high school kid spent his Burger King paycheck on crappy appearance mods?

The new bumpers are the only thing I think look good. Unless we could pick each "i s" difference to add seperatly I'd rather save the money and get the regular 335i and do my own mods.

I love this LCI...and its making me want to delay my purchase. I have been hunting at a 2009/2010 e93, but this is supposed to coming around the corner! I actually really like the headlights and the tailights, and the M sport front end (which I was planning on purchasing from BMW anyways)

There is 16 pages that I don't want to pour through so here's the burning question: Is the 335is worth the extra $6000+ over the 335i, in monetary sense? ie. is it cheaper if I buy a 335i and just add the M sport aero kit?

but now 335is badges on on trunk, side fender, interior tach gauge and on passenger side trim? wtf?
on the other note, 370lb instant torque... wow this just makes harder for me to choose between M3 and 335is...
