Halifax to Calgary and other cities

I'm on the Aida which is supposed to land tomorrow. Just curious how long it took others to get from HAlifax to your dealership in Canada?

Somewhat related to the OP's question, my CA emailed me the following today:

"Hi XXX,

Your car has been built and is at the port of exit in Germany.
Here is the VIN # for your reference.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Your car should be shipped to Halifax, Canada soon, and I will keep you posted.

Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime if you have any questions.

Thank you."

Any ideas as to how long before it arrives at the dealership?

I hate to do this but and ye shall find. I don't remember exactly what subforum (perhaps the one on delivery and ordering) but there are threads explaining timing, status etc.

Basically, from Halifax to Calgary it can take another 2-3 weeks.

From Germany to Toronto 3-4 weeks.

I just took delivery of my 335 this week.

It took only 6 days once it left Halifax to get to Edmonton.

You can track the progress if you have the VIN number and you sign up for a CN Rail "Velocity" account

http://www.cn.ca/velocity/en_velocity.shtml

It was hilarious tracking the delivery time:

From Bremerhaven by ship over the Atlantic - 15 days
From Halifax to east Edmonton railyard - 6 days
From east Edmonton to west Edmonton by transport truck - 10 days

Good Luck

6 days! That's great. You're giving me hope, at least for that part. who know how long it'll sit in the Ogden train yards here.
