I work as a Course Leader in Music Technology (FE) and Moving Image Production (HE) for a local University College - despite what everyone thinks, I work approx 60-70 hrs a week and always end up working through my holidays aswell.

I also run my own business producing audio for businesses (telephone on hold audio mainly, but radio commercials, narration etc).... And from May 2010 I'm also going to be doing an MA in Creative & Media Education.

Thought I would join in

I work on this our current flagship:

and were developing this our new flagship:

No real shots yet as were only putting the lower accommodation floor in.

Will be starting our new new flag ship later this year:

I do work for Princess and we had a bad start to 2009 loosing 300 people which was a horrendous day! Things are much better now and we've taken on a lot more people again and probably some more soon.

We've just got a new site and are developing the two boats above

Elegant - it's highly likely I know the bloke that did those images. He used to work for Bill Dixon and now runs his own visuals company.

Only got a wee little speedboat ourselves but the inlaws have this steel lump moored in the Med:

Thats a nice looking yacht do they use it? Too many people have boats and never use them!

They use it all the time - they fly down and spend about a month on it several times a year.

Not my cup of tea but it's pretty nicely decked out and one of only 15 made in that size (46ft). He's bought the moulds so anyone else that wants one (many have enquired) have to pay him - splendid! Weighs 30 tonnes though - even more than an E93... ;-)

It's already an industry that people perceive to be 'dodgy', its comments like that that really don't help, especially for the ones who do run a legitimate caring and successful business....but no offence taken

My business sells display and engineering plastics plus we manufacture returnable packaging for the automotive industry (manufacturers + 1st/2nd tier suppliers)
