My garage has a padded edge, so in case of malfunction it won't be so bad I guess

Last year I saw an elderly woman drive into a restricted lot. Didn't seem to notice that she needed a key card. She drove right "under" the gate bar, which ran up her hood, her windshield, roof, and down the back of the car, leaving an impressive orange streak. It was truly frightening that she is driving on the roads.

If you meant my story, it was in one of the the physician's lots at my hospital. As a geriatrician, I had concerns about dementia, but since she's not my patient, I'm not sure about my ethical responsibilities.
