I'm one of the ones that haven't had an issue with the Fuel pump. 26k miles and counting.

Well, I'm on my third too! But with just under 10K miles I would challenge anyone here to beat my 3K/hpfp ratio.

One good thing about owning a POS is you get to try out all of the loaner cars.

Yeah, when I was at 26k I didn't have any issues either. When I got to 29K+ is when I've started having long cranks (4-5 Secs), rough idle's and the rpm's going between 500-2000k on start-ups. I thought it might have been the PROcede and the Injen DCI, so I took those out last week, but I'm having the same issues, so I know it's not the tune, it's actually gotten a little worse than when I had the tune in, if that makes any sense...

I just don't understand how one day the car starts up with no long cranks, and then the next day I get a 5 seconder. I've been recording the cranks (on my digital camera) so that the dealership don't tell me I'm making things up...

I hope you last past 29k Altec, but if you don't, welcome to the club

I'm going to close this thread since it seems as the OP has made his point.
Unfortunately he hasn't had as much enjoyment as a lot of us.
