JB3 2.0 USB Cable through Firewall

Has anyone in the Miami area routed their JB3 2.0 USB cable through their firewall into the glovebox, and interested in helping me do the same with mine? I am comfortable with installing and removing the JB3 (have done so for 1.4 update, and 2.0 update) but haven't yet tried firewall pass-through per the DIY guide. Anxious to get some data logging done and would love to be able to do some on the fly map-switching / custom tuning of parameters...

Hey Jaza - Where are you located? I live and work in the Brickell area, and don't have the necessary tools on me down here. I'll send you a PM now with contact info and maybe we can get in touch. I am also still down for a joint photo shoot sometime, which I think you mentioned at one point in one of my previous posts.

what tools? there is a hole in the ecu box, just route it through there. it will come up under the glove box.

edit: damn it, yeah you need a torx for two screws.

Yeah, Torx, 8mm wrench I believe, and screwdriver to get to the ECU box in the first place.

What do you mean about USB mod? Please elaborate...

Working on getting the pcs back up, but i ended up putting the usb female inside the armrest INTO the adaptor that is supposed to be to charge your ipod. since my car didnt come with 6FL it was easy.
