change springs in forge dv's?

I am running the giac stage 2 software with meth installed and just wanted to know if anything could be improved by installing yellow springs over the forge installed green springs? Will i see a boost response difference?

when i had my forge dv's i was running green but alot of people say they fell better throttle response. IMHO i would go with the yellow especially since your running stage 2.

don't do it...green springs are better as you want the boost to release as quickly as possible on throttle lift...with yellow springs it won't happen as quickly and that extra boost will kick back to your turbos (additional stress)...the only reason to move from green to yellow is if you see that you're not holding boost well enough

How are your boost settings for the meth? Have you noticed considerable power gains with the stage 2 and meth?

definitely a difference after the meth, I noticed some power gains from my butt dyno, however nothing to get to excited about. I still need more power! I am going to the dyno friday with dzenno to see what my numbers are like with the meth.

Ok great, let us know what the results look like - I'm really curious because I should (knock on wood) get the same flash in the next couple of days.

I run the yellow springs. Anything over 15PSI I think they are recommended. Shiv runs yellow.

During most of your driving how high do you push your boost PSI. If most of the time it's below 15PSI, stick with green, if you're concerned they're not holding the boost you can add 1 or 2 plates, before going to yellow.

Green - 5-15 PSI
Yellow - 15-23 PSI
Blue - 23-30 PSI

I say unless you're running upgraded turbos leave green springs in there..if in doubt just check your datalogs and check how your boost is holding up..ppl have done extensive tests even with stock dvs and they're fine at up to 16-17psi, not leaking
