NFS HP is the first video game i have a recollection of playing. I will always buy one even if the ones before shift have largely been disappointing.

Wow, no posts in this thread for months!

Do you guys realize that for the next few days there is a free demo for this game in the PSN/XB360 stores? I downloaded it, played it, its a lot of fun!

The BMW Z4Drive35IStoomanyletters is in this demo too, along with the Porsche Boxster Spyder and 370Z coupe (as a police car) and convertible. You can play 2 modes, free race and pursuit.

Why can't you? The demo isnt multiplayer.

The demo only lets you play the police pursuit. If you get a friend to download the demo then that unlocks the roadster race. And none of my friends on PS3 like racing games.

I didnt know it blocked that if you didnt have friends with it also. A lot of my friends love racing games, so it was already unlocked when I got around to downloading it.

This game isn't supposed to be a racing sim like GT5 or Forza - it's meant to be racing game that's supposed to be fun, like all NFS games in the past. That's why I'm looking forward to this game because it's still going to be a driving game while being far different from the extreme competitive nature of F1 2010.

After playing the demo I can already see plenty of things I like. First of all the graphics look pretty good, especially the smoke effects. Also, it looks to me like the traffic consists of real cars, and not just randoms shapes with wheels. Sure the handling may not be good, but like TK-421 said its an arcade game. And its pretty easy to get used to.

Finished the game a few weeks ago and overall I liked it...but I had a few issues with it.

1) too many damned time trials. Not the cool ones like gauntlet either.

2) too easy. I was beating some races by over 30 seconds.

3) I beat the whole thing and I'm only a level 14 cop and level 13 racer? Boo

4) not enough races...kinda goes with the too many tome trial things.

But if somebody wants to hit me up on xbox live and play with me I'd be awesome. None of my friends play racing games

I played it in the week before GT5 arrived, it is an okay game but i cannot tolerate the no interior part of it. It makes me unable to predict the car and it was just too easy and boring. It was not even fun as Shift was on occasion.

Overall, i knew i wouldn't touch it again after GT5 in my life and got rid of it.
