Space Grey E90, LCI

Does that car belong to anyone here? - for some reason the number plate seems to ring a bell - maybe I've seen it on the road. Saw it on a part of the TV program yesterday

i saw that too, felt awful seeing it sitting there waiting to be dismantled!!

Yeah I thought about that.

But if your motor got nicked, would you really want it back? Who knows how it's been driven in that time...

Wasn't it a facelift 320d SE? Makes you wonder where the parts are ending up - ebay or dodgy repairers?

Also wonder what is the market for them - its under warranty for 3yrs so whos going to need a nearly new engine, gearbox, etc. outside the main dealer networK? Bodyparts slightly different of course. Could also be going abroad I guess.

yeah tis a valid point. quite impressive that they actually found it though.

I would, at least I could sell it on, if it didn't get found, I'd lose out on the insurance payout, unless you had GAP.

Yeh I seen that too the bm was just Siting there with the merc it was brand new aswell I would hate to pay 30k+ on a car then find out that it has been stolen and is going to be turned into parts like the other merc on the lift
