Would anyone be interested to doing a 1/4 mile track day? The next open days are wed July 28 or wed aug 4.

Are you talking about Pacific? I've been meaning to head out there in street trim sometime this year. They're open pretty much every Wed and Fri.

Be fun to get a small group of us out there.

I don't have one either, and I suppose I should invest in one. We all shared Joe's and Tony's helmets last time. They check you after your run. They usually give you a warning first (if less than 13.99 without one), but if you do it again they'll kick you off the track.

eric,

i asked my friend who ran few times on track and also have bike and he said everyone who is faster than 14 sec has to bring helmet so i don't know how sharing would work... are you sure we can share the helmet? maybe i should pick one up on craiglist or something...

yep, under 14s you have to buy a helmet. and don't think you can share the helmet.

what happen is that when they inspect your car, tell them you are pretty much stock (no tune) and you should run low 14's so you will get to run the first round. Once you finish the first round,which I believe 99% of you will break 14.00 , you will have to borrow a helmet for the 2nd round and so forth. That's exactly what I did when I ran 2 years ago.

I'll have to see if I can make it on the 30th. Have to go over to Ellensburg to pick up my gf at noon and also heading to Gold Mountain for 36 holes golf the next morning.
