Talking will these fit a xi

hey guys,

I have never changed my rims before but im thinking of switching my stock 268 rims to something different. I have my eyes on a set of VMR VB3's but the spec of the rims are,

Fronts - 18 x 8.5 40mm offset - 235/40R 18 Falken RT615
Rears - 18 x 9.5 22mm offset - 245/40R-18 Falken RT615

I am wondering if this set will fit my 2008 e90 328xi and i am installing H&R sport springs and i currently have 10mm spacers on my stock rims.

Can you guys chime in on this and let me kno if these will fit and if i need to adjust my speedo reading

Also if the seller says that the tread is about twice as deep as the wear bar how long do you guys think the tires will last me. I will prob only be using these on a regular basis no tracking etc...

and if anybody have installed pictures of these rims on a e90 AW car it would be greatly appreciated especially if your running H&R springs too! I think the set is either hyperblack or silver

Thanks you guys!!

Eric

I would not recommend running that tire combination on an xi as it is over a 1% difference in rolling diameter...a 235/40/18 should really be paired with a 265/35/18 rear for a low difference in rolling diameter...

Also, you're going to need to roll your fenders to accomodate an ET22 offset while lowered

how bad is the rolling diameter difference if i run that combo untill the tires are bald? prob one season? and if i need to switch tires which tires are the best bang for the bucks for 265/35/18

It's a 1.2% difference, not a lot over 1% but I wouldn't want to mess up the xi system

hmm... coz the rear tires have bout less than 50% tread left so they will prob last a season maybe 2. If i wait till the tires are bald and then switch to 265/35/18's ill it be reli bad for my car?

I would get the correct tire size but that's just my opinion

Yes, I believe many people in run are runing 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 on an xi.
