IT came out in April this year to the trade at Basel watch fair ,It has loads of new tweaks starting with Maxi dial, ceramic bezel, larger case, solid links in the bracelet, new clasp very similar to the one on the deep sea model, its much heavier ,and its dial glows at night blue ,

I bought a new old style in April and put it away for a rainy day @ 3200,The new version is 4650 some increase for a few tweaks,I just had a look on www.turfers.com classified they are changing hands at 5200, so i thnk i will have it and if i dont like it just flip it to someone who isnt on the list ,I have waited at least two years for this to arrive ie from rumours to go in to production ,

I have a good relationship with my Rolex agent ,unlike BMW dealers he is now on his 17th year of continuous trade,he is honest ,reliable and a gent,he is someone i would trust unlike the low life employed by most bmw dealers now

Google it Peter ,its quite nice but a lot of money for a tool watch in stainless steel

It looks good, I like, but prefer my steel/gold sub. I wear mine every day, but in an ideal world I would like another 'daily wearer' like a low end Brietling or something. Nice to know that the Rolex sub still appreciates in value though.

They do a steel gold version with a ceramic bezel and the enhancements came out in 09 the steel version is always last to appear

I think they have added numbers to the ref no ie 16610 is now 116610 c .

My wife bought herself a Breitling starliner approx 18 months ago we got 25% off list tbh it isnt that great ,she likes it so thats all that matters, she has a ladies 18k yachtmaster that hasnt been worn since a far superior piece .

I would look at Omega as a daily wearer/beater there are some nice pieces and affordable as well.

I will try and get over and look at it this afternoon.
