Hey guys I need some help on choosing drop springs for my ride but I'm not to sure what I should go with, I want to get a brand that goes pretty low but idk what the difference between brands if you guys know anything please lmk what's a good drop and oh yeah feel free to post pics of e90 xi dropped as examples thanks in advance...empire328

hey wondering if anyone can help me, i have a 2011 328xi e90 with about 250lbs of subwoofer in the trunk. unfortunately it weighs down the rear of my car dropping it about an inch. how can i correct this? either raise the rear to stock height or lower the front?
if i put on h and r springs will the rear still lower more than the front even though the springs r stiffer? thanks

I did a ton of research on this and the consensus is yes. People are getting about 7k-10k out of their factory shocks/struts when lowered. I have the Eibach Pro springs for the 335i installed and the ride is great and not harsh at all. I coupled these springs with Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts that are designed for the XI and meant specifically to work with lowering springs. I don't have any complaints and the handling is great compared to stock and this is even on run flat tires. I have zero rake and can post pics showing wheel gap later on.

lol, where the hell did you get that nonsense?? There are plenty of people who have gone 50k+ miles on lowering springs with stock shocks. The thought that springs blow out stock shocks is grossly overblown

Don't always believe what you read. Someone who only got 7-10k miles on their stock shocks may have already had 50k miles on their stock shocks. Lowering springs will not wear out stock shocks that quickly. The H&R's, which are the most aggressive sport spring, are only 20% stiffer than stock springs. To think that they would shorten stock shock life by 80% (assuming shocks last 75k - 100k miles) is absurd.

I just did +/- 17K miles with Eibach springs on stock shocks that already had 30K miles on them and had no issues what so ever and the shocks still looked great

Any chance you can answer this? The **********s website doesn't show the Eibach Pro spring set up for e92 328xi's. I would assume the regular 328i set up would not be intended for the additional weight of the x drive.

He was mistaken, Eibach doesn't make a spring specifically for the xi. Many members use the i springs on their xi.
