chip repairs :(

hello,

i knwo this question has been asked a number of times but would appreciate your insights on my variant. ( i have gone through the posts on the forum

i purchased my bmw a black non-metallic under a year ago and recently noticed several stone chips on my bonnet.

I have purchased smartguard (http://www.smc-cars.com/AllMakes/Fin...ric-Protection', when i called them up to report the chips, tthey said that they will just camouflage and weather proof it.
Does non-treatment of chips result in rust and need to get camouflaged and weather proofed asap? (that is what smart guard people told me ).

what is the best course of action
1. get smartguard to fix it.
2, colour wax it (some of the chips are very very small)
3. leave it as is
4. any other solution

would appreciate your learnings

http://drcolorchip.com/ I haven't tried this, but I hear that it is good.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

+1 ^Just ordered this for my car and my mom's range rover.

Btw, your bumpers won't rust but your quarter panels/doors may...depends on what was stripped off.
