I have black dakota leather with aluminum trim. I'd rather have something other than aluminum. If you wrap interior or interested in trading (i don't know how to remove it), let me know!

Odd-- I've seen 3M DI-NOC in his shop and he wrapped some items in CF on his personal G35. You can also contact SpeedShield-- I'm pretty sure they do CF wraps: http://www.speedshieldusa.com/

hmm, suscribed. I always thought I would just bite the bullet and do the DiNoc myself, but I might be interested in getting someone else do it for the right price.

I got a quote from someone in Dallas for 315$ for everything.

By the way guys, I'm just learning about this stuff but what is the best quality trim you can wrap with? Is it 3M-DiNOC?

I think us Dallas guys should order some DiNoc then get together for a group wrapping session. Of course, we're going to need someone who knows how to wrap well to "lead". But we could all do our own work, but pay the leader 25.00/piece to walk us through and help us.

Good idea. I hate the idea of paying 300$ for someone to do this. But I know myself, and I will end up doing just that.

Hmm, let me know when you want to buy the dinoc. I have a bunch of it. Just FYI, $300 is a good price to do it. Also, do not forget the 3M primer 94 you will need to buy. Also, plan on 1-2 days to do all the interior parts as you will need to prep all of them first. Hope that helps. Also, check out this website www.beemerevolution.com, it may help you with looking at the dinoc stuff.

I have always used truCarbon in south florida to wrap my cars. he does an awesome job, clearly one of the best in the biz. He also wraps for bmw. Hope this helps. Oh yeah his email is truCarbon@yahoo.com.

Not to change the subject, but do any of the places listed above wrap exterior window trim? I'm going to attempt wrapping my factory trim with matte black shadowline vinyl. If I fail miserably, I'll probably look to one of the local shops...

I just finished wrapping my interior pieces today, its not hard at all. The super 77 adhesive spray was actually very easy to work with and it doesn't set in right away. The key is to use a stretch when applying the fabric. I takes only about 36"x48" to finish one interior.
I got my wrap off ebay from Carbonmonster888 (was buy 2 yd get 1 free)
Here are a few pics:
Taking out the trim pieces took some time, especially the center console and main deck panel.

This was my first piece, did the hardest one, so if I fail... I won't waste my time on continuing... but as you can see it turned out well

After 6 hrs of wrapping, its all done!!

How resilient would you say that fabric is? I'd hate to have to rewrap pieces because they got scratched etc. Thanks

I can't say since I just have them installed for 1 day. I can tell you that the fabric can get snagged by sharp objects quite easily. I haven't tried, but I may test a clear coat on this fabric to see if it'll improve the durability.

thanks for the update. It might be a good idea to see about that clear coat on an unseen area. I know a snag would be a pain in the ass.
