iphone 1g on idrive - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hello!

I have reverted to my iphone 1g (the iphone with edge network, not 3g) and am wondering if my idrive on my 2009 328i says its not supported then is there no chance of getting my idrive working with my iphone? i hate using aux input.

I am asking this because my 1st gen ipod shuffle (the giant white stick) is recognized by my idrive but my new iphone (1st gen) is not.

If anyone has any expereince with making not supported things work with idrive any advice would be helpful

not not to sound arrogant but why not just get a nice 16gb or whichever size your prefer usb stick and let her rip
