Ive got a 335is and downloaded about 200 songs to the in-car music collection hard drive. Generally plays fine, though sometimes I try to select a certain title and the player skips ahead to the next artist/song. I go back and try to selec the title again, same result. I select random yes/no, try difference music collection folders, come in / out and generally just get random results ... whether Ive selected "random" play option or not. These tracks play fine on my PC via WMP, and also recently via Itunes. Maybe some kind of DRM on these certain tracks I dont know.

Anybody else have this type of problem ?

Also I cant get any kind of playlist working.. including Apple M3U and cant get the hard drive player to recognize the playlist ...

Anyone have a good thread with instructions for loading a playlist to the onboard hard drive music collection in the glove box ?

is it certain songs, or just random songs at different times?
i had 1 song that i could not play no matter what i did. Then i wiped the flash drive, and put on some new music (the i had put that same song on again) and it worked that time

I think its certain songs.. I'll have to pay attention and see if I can figure out the pattern.

"in-car music collection hard drive"??? Why haven't I heard about this? Does a 2008 335i equipped with nav and ipod options have this hard drive, or is this something with the newer 3?
