Takes up a large proportion of my E92 - and fills the last ounce of space in our Q7 (with seven seat arrangement) - get a mclaren for trips in the car!!

Things improve a bit if you pop the wheels off...

No piccies but I found our Bugaboo fitted in our E90 in the same fashion as in your picture i.e. left to right, and takes up a lot of the space. I found it fitted the other way round in the E92 i.e. front to back, there must be a couple of extra cm length in the coupe - it fitted better strangely in the alledged 'impractical' coupe.

I guess you realise the pram part can be squashed to be flatter?? It's a bit of a faff but just needs a couple of hidden supports removing from memory (might be harder than I'm remembering for day to day transport - I certain did it for long trips/holidays).

Phil and Ted's fits really well in the back of my e91 - takes up aprox 50% of the boot floor space.

The Quinny Buzz fits easily with wheels off too, I have the E92 and E90 no probs in either.
The big wheel fits in the rear corner, and can even get a cot next to it.

That must be the M-sport Bugaboo with oversize rear tyres. SE-spec Bugaboos have same size wheels front and rear and the wheels are a lot smaller than the sport model in your pic.

Buy a Quinny Zapp, tiny buggy, even fits well in the boot of a Mini. We bought one for the second child after hawling around all the huge buggies with the first. Best buggy we ever bought, really light to fold up and takes us so little space in the car, and much cheaper than the big "travel systems".

But that pram in the top pic does not look like a Bugaboo. Is that the pram you actually want to put in? Is that pram shown in the top pic a different model of Bugaboo which you don't see around much?

Out n About 360 (offroad 3 wheel job) fits fine in our E91 - I take the wheels off for tidyness but it only takes up half the boot. The other half is for the dog and other clobber.

won't be spending more on prams

the pic sample is the lie flat setup which we now have the seat which doesn't have the high sides, so not as bad.

yes the wheels can come off, but it's bit of a faff to do each time, although not hard at all.

for those who have this does it fit the other way round in the touring, is the boot on the touring long enough?

Phil and Teds fits perfectly in the E90 and a compact Maclaren pram for quick trips is even better.

just been down to a BMW dealer as a friend was picking up a part

had a nosey around the e91 and very nice they are but aren't much bigger than the golf hatchback in terms of rear space, due to the curved seats, so with a child seat and 2 passengers will be tight.

also someone had a pram on its side with wheel pointing up which i guess won't fit in the normal way.

great car, but i don't think the room will be actually adequate

That's why my Brother ended up with an A4. I've no experience of a direct comparison (saloons) but remember him saying the boot in an E90 was useless compared to an A4.

I know it's not the right forum to big up an A4 but just relaying what I'd heard.

The B7 A4 has LESS space than an E91. I think the B8 is very slight bigger but then the car is massive outside. Not sure about the saloons.

Are the B7 & B8 the estates (not up on Audi codes) - I was specifically talking about the saloon. Could be wrong, just what my Bro told me at the time (he's got the older shape A4 - probably 3 years old now).

the 2005+ model A4 saloons has very little head rear room, but i do believe the boot is every so slightly bigger in the saloon in length compared to the avant estate version (not sure how).

but even the a4 isn't that big.
i wasn't sure what to expect from the e91 touring, but it doesn't offer that much more space in in than our Golf.

would be nice to be able to put the pram in with enough room comfortably say a weekly supermarket shop say.

If you want load space, you want the Passat - miles more room than the A4.

i've had a passat estate as a hire car before, i think i was expecting something like that, which had a better load bay, as the 3 series has it's wheel coming into the boot quite a bit

all interesting though.

in the flesh the e91 m sport is nice

Just brought the Mamas and Papas Urbo.... gonna have no problem with this in the E90 as it fits in the boot of my wifes Mini !
