sportline ride height

just got the sportlines installed, does anyone think that maybe the bump stops are holding the car up. i put new ones on with the suspension work.

Yeah, bro, something doesn't look right there as Sportlines drop just as much as H&R Race. 2.0 f and 2.0 R. I remember there was a thread about someone installed H&R sport and had to cut the bump stop or what not. You may want to trim the bump stop a little bit, but correct me if I'm wrong.

i was thinking that something may be wrong, but the fact that all sides are the same the only thing i would think is that the car may be sitting on the bump stops. i put on new bump stops from the bmw performance suspension. although they are probably the same, the old ones were 6 years and 70k miles old and may have lost some of their rigidity. i really do not want to pay someone to remove the bump stops especially since it rides so nice, its like stock zsp with much better rebound and i dont have to worry about rubbing under any circumstance. but at the same time another half inch lower front and back would make me very happy.

i did get a full inch in the front, but this is a heads up for anyone thinking about buying springs, eibch does not lower the car what they say. they say two inches over standard but sport is a half inch and i got a half inch, in my math that only equals one inch. although i havent put a tape to it yet im pretty sure its only an inch so if anyone can prove me wrong feel free.

I'm pretty sure the Eibach site says 1.4" for the front and 1.0" for the rear, plus after those settle for a week or two it should be sitting at the proper specs the Eibach site says.

P.S. if your car was sitting on the bump stops, it would ride like complete ass.
