Boost gauge for ashtray

Looking to put in a pod in the ashtray but I would prefer to keep my lighter. I'm guessing this will need custom work.

If I go the route of buying a pod, it's ~$300 for the 3D designs one!!!! I wouldn't want to spend more than $100 and I also don't need 3 gauges there.

I'd liek to essentially just have the boost gauge fitted into the ashtray (not LED digital kind).

ANY IDEAS?

not a very good place to put a gauge you have to look at while at WOT.

I've noticed that. Most people that have the gauges in the ash tray must just love them for looks. Personally I'd love a company to produce something thats more visible when looking ahead. The vent gauge is pretty nice:

But I really don't like the look of the ECS gauge. Wish I could stuff a Defi BF in there, or a PLX OLED gauge, but the vent pod only fits gauges that are 45mm.

I hate the "mickey mouse" ear gauges for the steering column too.

In my RX7 I have a custom quad pod, that just snaps in over the center speaker in the dash

I have the Rixter vent gauge but the placement is not ideal. I would highly recommend ATi ePOD for e90:

The Macht Schnell ashtray gauge pod would be less costly :

What is the reason to keep the cigarette lighter? There are plenty of alternatives for power if needed.

How much for this pod? Can u PM me?

The lowest I've seen is $120 for a generic one on ebay and up to $300ish for the 3d Designs. I honestly don't really need to know much else beyond boost gauge bit if I have no choice so be it
