Properly lowered cars are hot (lowered to the point where the wheel arc is perfect).
Slammed cars are stoopid.
Hellaflush can be cool, but its completely un-practical

There is a fine line between lowered and slammed. I had a slammed civic and I had it raised to lowered because I was scrapping everywhere. When my car was on a lift I would see how much damage it had. I think you are taking this too much to the heart OP. It doesn't sound like most people "hate" lowered cars but rather chuckleheads who stop traffic to go over a penny. I am all for lowering a car and it can make it look better. Like I said before there is a difference lowered and slammed.

Lowered= nice, aggressive look
Slammed= ghetto, retarded

Here is a video just for you OP. I know it will give you a semi!

I agree with the majority who have responded to this thread. I personally do like cars that are lowered, but to a certain extent. Nothing crazy, just enough to give the car an aggressive look, and yet plenty of space to go over speed bumps or what not.

The ancient Greeks used to say "Everything in Moderation". This seems to be a concept that escapes a lot of people. There is a point where doing something that results in an improvement will start to be detrimental.

If you have lowered it an inch or so then that is understandable as you will see performance gains but if you are one of those guys that dropped it 2" or more then , in my opinion, the horns are warranted. You have clearly done it for appearance reasons as the ride is horendous and you would see performance losses. You are holding everyone up because you think you look cool.

whether my cars are lowered or not, I still slow down for speed bumps. But if you can run over a speed bump and not worry about scraping, you are not low enough!

20" wheels......theres another good idea for the street. Have you ever noticed that race cars don't even use 20" wheels?

I don't think he's striving to be a "race car" with 20" wheels...
