I am currently having the same problem, but have not figured out why it's happening yet. Mine only happens a few seconds after startup.

I have a 2011 323i and I have a weird problem. The both AM and FM stations sounds 'tinny' in the morning when I start the car if it is cold in the morning (like 3 Celcius and lower). I think the radio signal strength is strong, its just that it sounds tinny. The USB audio and phone sounds fine.
After driving for about 1/2 hr, turning the car off and then turning it back on again, it sounds normal. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the tint I got installed, but if the tint was the issue, I would think that it should be a consistent problem. My guess is that it has something to do with moisture since I park my car outside and there is condensation in the morning. Perhaps after driving for a bit, whatever condensation there is goes away and then it works ok? Anybody else experience this before? |
