335i or a 335is?

I am just wondring if an "is" is more appealing to the community out their.
Can you Mod the is and easy as the 335i and the price differential wouldn't be more than a few thousand.

Thank you,
Allan

Yes, if you buy a "is" the women will come flooding and you will become a billionaire in approximately 42 days.

Yes I did I am being criticized by friends and family that I should have rather ordered the "is" with DCT transmission and all the same options except a few for a few more thousand. It's just I wasn't sure if the "is" was as easily modded as the 335xi.

Wouldn't it be easier?

If performance modifications are a big factor to consider, personally I would have went with the RWD platform. Did you go xi for a particular reason?

Funny that you are criticized for not getting the "is". That's really lame. Nothing wrong with an Xi.

The grounds which they were arguing with me on is the fact that for 2 more thousand i could have gotten the is with DCT transmission and the "is".

Thank you,

Yep, you gotta love someone else who will tell you what YOU should have bought. Tell your friends to feel free to get themselves an IS w/DCT.

I have had my 335is for two months and love the DCT. There are six driving modes, Manual with Sports mode engaged is awesome as is the AT/Sport with Sport mode engaged. I really can't think of any mods you would want to do. It has the coolest wheels(313's) BMW makes and all the M trim, lips, spoilers, black exhaust tips, etc I'm sure you can tune it...what do you want to do exactly? Let me know if I can help. Here are some pics:

My situation as well. Love the 335is, but didn't quite fit my family. If I was 18, and had the cash (lol) I would have bought an 335is for sure (or even an M3 coupe).

I thought the IS was more like 7K more, not 2K. Anyhow, your Xi is an awesome car - especially for your first car! My first car was a 1972 Mercury Capri that I got for $300 7 years old...

Well, If you look at my other threads the 335xi that i ordered is filled up with options which come to be 58,450 MSRP and i built the 335is which a few less option that i had included in the 335xi i could have gotten it but ohh well just ill live with this.
