Need body shop recomendation - Pasadena Area - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

So I'm driving home in bumper to bumper traffic not even moving when my car lurches all by itself about a foot. I look over to see a little old lady in a Buick had decided to change lanes right into me. wonderful.
We stop and she says "I didn't even see you there, sorry. your car just doesnt stand out very much" jeeze, I'm thinking black cars should be outlawed I guess for being too stealth?

Anyway, so now I need a body shop that does nice work with Jet Black. Car did not have a single scratch and was waxed with carnuba ever couple weeks.

Don't know if you want a small shop that isn't too expensive or an official BMW Collision Center. But New Century has the BMW Collision Center down in alhambra. There's a thread of the work they're doing, which seems to be excellent. It's gonna cost though. Sorry about your car.

cant tell you a great shop to go to..but i can say do NOT go to M1 AUTOBODY the place that LTBMW uses...awful work..they repainted my jet black e92 and the results were very poor i was left with swirl marks and the owner says to me.."You know its a black car its almost impossible to not have swirl marks in the car"

OP sorry to hear bout the fender bender.
I had a co-worker, back her rear into my bumper a few years back.

it was an eyesore, contacted LongTran and set me up with an MTECH
front bumper. Insurance covered and everything came out clean.
it was a 2007 jet black e90, i miss that bimmer.

what did you have repaint? the whole bimmer?

Thanks for the replies. I'll check out New Century and I got a PM from a guy in North Hollywood. At least I have something to go on now.
Oh, and yeah, the swirl marks are a pain.. Kind of thing I'm trying to avoid.
