Anyone know anything about BMW regensburg plant holiday shut down this year?

I don't know the exact dates for the holiday shutdown, but I ordered my 328i 2 Dec, 2010, and got a production slot for the 2nd week of Feb 2011. So I guess they will be closed for the full month of January.

Waiting sucks!!

So it's not possible that a late Nov order would have a January production date?

Sorry but that makes no sense.. You need a new CA .. I just ordered my m3 last week and it's already in production to be done this week..

You just have a dumb CA

Ordered my 3 at the beginning of the month. Was built in Munich per VIN #

Current status: Awaiting transport. Good luck!

I don't think that the chairman for the middle east MSP program is that dumb.

Talked to him and he explained that it will be a Feb build because of my required delivery date of late March, which makes sense for warranty durability. I will be returning home (from Qatar) that very last week of March.

My bad I didn't explained this on the earlier post.

I just ordered my new 2011 yesterday and BMW told me the factory will be shut down for the month of January...
