:: ECS Tuning :: N54 Quick Spool Crank Pulley - Black / Silver ~ Unlock Hidden HP!

The ECS Quick Spool Pulley releases hidden horsepower from your N54 engine by reducing the rotational mass caused by the stock heavy crank pulley.

Less rotational mass equals less engine drag causing the engine to have a quicker throttle response creating boost faster throughout the RPM range.

The stock pulley weighs in at a scale tipping 8.65 lbs. compared to the ECS Quick Spool Pulley at just 0.50 lbs.! That's a 94% reduction in weight.

Throughout the testing phase, the ECS Quick Spool Pulley gained an average of 6hp and 5ft/lbs at the wheels. (see dyno chart)

Each ECS Quick Spool Pulley is made from high quality 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and has a hard anodized coating available in black or silver.

Does the stock crank pulley have any damping properties to explain its weight?

I don't think that's fair to say. It's not "this" product, but products of "this type."

The NST crank pulley forfeits its damping properties similarly so I wouldn't be too worried. Tons of those have been sold and used with no additional problems...

Any rebuttal from ECS?

If it doesnt have harmonics I would not buy it. This is not like the m3 pulley where the harmonic dappener is seperate, it eleminates it.
