I have the ipod adapter installed in my E92. I am in SF, SOMA...I would be happy to show you the ipod in operation.

I am somewhat pleased with it. I like the integration with radio and the song/artist display. But the random feature is irritating and I don't like the fact the same song plays starts from the beginning if I get out of the car and turn it off, instead of starting where I left off. There are work-arounds but they aren't great. You are able to load based on playlists, artists, song, podcast and genre. I have about 2500 songs on my ipod. I paired it down in the hopes of getting it to work better. The artist and song selection takes about 3-5 mins to load. I do like the fact the ipod charges while in use. And this beats the monster FM transmitter I had before on my e60.
