Wanted to let you all know that I've been driving around Japan in my US 335i listening to my ipod or AM stations since I couldn't figure out how to change the radio frequencies. I followed the directions in this post and sure enough, I was able to switch to JPN and can now listen to Japanese FM stations.

Annoying side effect, however: I have a "backing up" tone come through the audio system anytime I engage reverse!

Thanks for the help!
