No.

This is the last time I will say this...it is completely PLUG AND PLAY.

I didn't mean to beat a dead horse however I have heard the term "plug and play" before but the parts still required the dealer to reprogram them before they worked properly.

Thanks!

Last I heard it's no longer a group buy. Just special pricing for e90post people. Just add them to your cart when ordering (specify you are on e90post in comments section) and they will adjust price manually before shipping them out to you.

Quick update ... just installed the M3 tri-stitched steering wheel, with the M-Sport trim and the DCT paddles and it's like driving a new car. The wheel feels great and the paddles finally work the way they should have from the factory. This is a great upgrade ... if you got the DCT paddles ... do yourself a favor and get the tri-stitched M3 wheel too!

Yes, the performance wheel has the option for step, or manual .... so paddles will work.

Yes, you can put this on a M3.

Just got the paddles delivered. Tischer rocks. Can you DIY install them or should you take it to a workshop? Last thing I need to to set off the airbag or something!

This is an easy DIY. Use the feature.

So the answer is yes, but you best be handy as you have to cut the openings into the steering wheel. I did it on an M3 wheel before the one with openings was released. It was a little hairy cuting up a new $400 steering wheel, but went well and look factory when I was done.

You can pickup the factory sport wheels really cheap, so it may not be worth your time as a lot of people have swapped them out for M3 or performance wheels.

I think that he still honors this, we just have to follow the directions by including our username on e90. I think I will be putting my order in as well.
