going to snap a few pictures here in a second... I must say that the trunck does a good job of muffling it . It was almost twice as loud in my single cab truck

the subwoofer cost me about $240 (ficaraudio.com), amp was about $250, and the box was another $250 with install.

I also purchased a digital line out converter that was another $120 from arc audio.

As long as you can get a signal for the RCAs, I don't see why not?

it was dark out, but heres the install... overall pretty satisfied for a trunck install on stock electrical

Ended up doing the port facing the rear and put a cover over it to clean it up. Amp is mounted under the box.

you can replace the stock subs under the seat if that's what your asking? I completely added a whole new one and I'm pretty satisfied with it. This is a night and day difference versus stock subs. The bass fills the car especially on the lows.

Looks clean. I wanted to try out Fi's stuff, but the last install I had was an eD nine.1 and 13av.2.

So are you still running the stock 8's along with this? Could you set it up to use the 8's as a midbass and have a sweet 3-way component setup in the front? Not sure how well the staging would be, but if you're not an audiophile it might sound nice.

I highly recommend Fi's / Ascendant Audio's stuff for your next setup - I would never purchase from another company.
www.ficaraudio.com

I'm still running the stock 8's. The box is tuned really low, and thus hammers out the lows but struggles above ~60hz. I've got it LPF here and the mid bass under the seats really shine in that area. It sounds just fine to me.

It's FAR from an SQ set up, but that was not really the aim here. I was going for loudness without losing too much trunk space, and really achieved that . It's enough to make your virgin ears start to itch and hurt for those who aren't used to a subwoofer setup. Shakes the shit out of my car too, but luckily the trunk rattle is not bad at all

Sounds nice. And holy crap - I completely forgot about AA. I absolutely loved the 15" I had from them - I got one that was signed by one of the founders. Pretty certain it was a Havoc, based on the cone.

I agree that the trunk does muffle your sound alot I am going to put a 15 inch FI btl in the cabin that should take care of that problem.
