Tool Kit

I was hoping for some help. From what I hear, I was supposed to get a tool kit of some sorts with my 2011 323i. What does the tool kit have?

Thank You for your help

It's no longer a complete toolkit but more a set of random tools now a days.
I don't recall what you are supposed to have however you should have a flat head screw driver & tow hook at the very minimum.

There is a limited tool kit under the grey panel over the battery. Generally a wrench and screwdriver. It has greatly decreased in size since the late 1990s and early 2000s

For the LCI vehicles there is even less.

I have just the screw driver and the tow hook. No wrench or allen key for the sunroof, and no wheel lock key (no wheel locks).

Cute. How the hell is this token toolkit supposed to help me? I think that BMW road service or my CAA card will be more help. And at home I have a real toolkit if I am motivated to work on my car.

It wont do much but its just nice to have them

Same here I have a bunch of tools at home. I do have BMW Assist and CAA as well. Good combo, I can get a tow from CAA for 200kms then another 80kms from BMW

They do look kind of cool and the tow hook could come in handy (but I hope not!).

I've used the tow hook - works fine. And the flat head screw driver is good for poping open the covers over the roof rack mounts (those flaps on the roof).

My 2008 looks exactly that same, except I have 2 wheel locks.
