What rims to get?

I have been going back and forth on what wheels to go with. I like mine, but I am getting bored with them fast.

Any thoughts on painting them gunmetal?

But really, can you all give me some ideas on rims that would look well on my car?

If I were you I would install some lowering springs before IŽd think about changing the wheels. Stance is everything

I got 19" wheels, m-sport suspension and H&R springs and there was no problem whatsoever to drive 600+miles/day on my roadtrip through europe this summer. So the ride comfort is pretty much the same as stock m-sport

Buy the BMW Peformance shocks (I believe they are the same as the M Sport shocks offered in Europe) from Tischer, it's a steal right now for $133 for 4 shocks and pare them with Eibach Pro Kit springs. I don't think the damping or rebouding of the Performance shocks are designed for the high spring rate of the H&R's - see Kenny's recent post. The Eibach's although stiffer, have the closest spring rate to the BMW sports package shocks and would be a better match.

H&R's are to low and the spring rate is to high for your stock shocks, don't do it.

I'd go with a set of Avant Garde, we can do them in 19" and a few different color options. If you are going to keep the car stock, I would stick with silver.

AG M335 (no longer available in Diamond Black)

AG M341

Avant Garde M368

We also offer custom colors on Avant Garde and VMR Wheels.

The most common setup that is going to work perfectly is the 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and 19x9.5 ET33 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. Here are a few more pictures of the Avant Garde M310 wheels in both Hyper Silver and Matte Black for you to check out
