WTF are you looking at?
|
Are you that hooked now? I remember when you were getting pumped for your first jump...

diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks...for me, nothing beat the adrenaline rush of that first jump. well, that was until i had my first malfunction. i keep chasing that rush ever since. beats any drug.

great video. BASE is something i'd like to do eventually, as i gain experience.
he lost his license for doing that and got put on an FAA black list forbidding him from skydiving. i'm sure it hasn't stopped him from skydiving, but it sure makes it hard to show up at a lot of DZ's to jump. he wasn't the first person to do this kind of stunt, but they made him a poster child for not doing shit like this. |

i wish i could find the video of my first jump, but it got lost in the move somewhere. i had a really big 'oh shit' look on my face, but it turns to all grins and laughter when you're heading downhill. YMMV, but i've taken plenty of friends out to jump and not a single one disliked it. many of them bug me to take them back out all the time. |

when my pilots license was still active i flew about 10 flights for a friend who needed me to do it last minute.
i had one instructor ride up and down with me because i told him i could give him a bigger gut drop than jumping out of a plane. he threw up. |

i'm a pilot, too, but it's much more fun outside the plane. can't replicate the feeling of tucking in and heading downhill at 150+ with the wind whipping by. parabolas or rolls can't do that. sure, anyone can get sick after enough parabolas, but can ya do this?
