One thing the 335 doesnt have that my previous car (2006 Audi A4) did was a place to hang your grocery bags. What's worse than having all your shopping slide around in the trunk as you exit your local supermarket in a high G turn...

Just get a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the mounting screws.

I prefer the VW design and just ordered through ECS Tuning. I had a few Jetta's in recent years and am dying now without it. You can't imagine how many gallons of water i've hung from one of those hooks and it never broke!

My hook came with hardware but I didn't use it. There was no lip to use the speednut on, so i ended up using self-tapping sheetmetal screws.

Just installed 2 of the VW hooks over the weekend and the install went perfectly. I stuck some deafening stickers so the hook doesn't rattle against the trunk's metal roof too

I fitted these too at the weekend, worked a treat!! I used 6mm x 30mm self tappers - not the supplied screws
