No. But there are weight differences, transmission differences and driver differences.

The 135i is lighter and you guys have different mods

Also, one major difference is the penile length of the driver. This is assuming the driver isn't the other gender, also known as the inferiors.

Don't you think there is a reason BMW used it in the 335is, the Z4 35is and even the 135 M? Eh ah that said, it all depends on tune level on either engine.

I know everyone in this forum says n54 is faster but, thats what surprises me I have spearco intercooler he has stock, I have twin cones he has stock intake and isnt the jb4 more aggresive than jb3 stage 1 for n55.

You realize that 15.5 PSI on a different turbo isnt the samething?

The M division had more experience with the N54 than the N55. I assume an N55 version could come out but who knows since a new 3 series coupe is a couple of years away.

THe N55 has a higher peak torque because of the bigger single twisted turbo and drops its power at the end of the rev band sooner. The N54 stays consistent all the way through. Check out the 335is compare to both however!

Also note that there is engine variance and the driver that comes into play. Someone launched a half second faster or one had stick and the other had auto, or one was in sport mode and the other was in auto. Someone cheated and had software tuned where other was stock. Never know.
