I was born in 82, got my permit at 16, licence at 17 and been driving since.. now i'm 25.
I know things have changed like revisionary licence where you cant drive untill a certain time.. I don't know, BEST bet is to CALL dmv and ask them for the rules... Or if your bored take a drive down to the nearest dmv during the day and ask there. I go to the one in wayne, and/or newark. Check it out, and Good luck!
