no..you can't really see it in the pic but the metal piece is actually like an " L" bracket, with a right angle bend on the piece i used to "cradle" the canister

I bought a mtech rear bumper made for the 335, and had the quad diffuser made as well. I've gotten a lot of questions and requests via PM and on the forums looking for better pics - I will try to have some pics taken next time my car is on the lift at my shop. Hopefully it will be a bit easier to understand then

Ok my friend... First you have to decide if u r going to move the canister the right way or the cheap way. The right way is going to involve replacing the white plastic hose that comes from the motor and runs to the side of the driver's area, it is very hard and you have to move or lose the back suspension to run the lines, I know this because I did the exsaust convertion from 325i to 335i all the way from motor to bumper using all oem parts. I saw the all the process involve to do the canister and it was PITA to get it done!!! But when you turn your car on you won't have any warring light because if you have a little leak from the hoses you will see it on your cluster. So if you do it the cheap way use good hoses to extend the lines and secure them really good so they don't leak.

Just got it done yesterday. Didn't have to move the tank, but I did cut out part of the storage compartment to allow for more access. Will take pics as soon as I can.

Here are some quick pics that I've been meaning to post up. Once I know it won't rain again anytime soon here, I'll wash my car and take more pics. I apologize for the dirt.

i did the quad conversion but i still haven't figured out what to do with the vapour box. my mechanic said he can replicate this system by using a smaller box sounf in previous generation bmw's. i am wondering thogh....is the 335's box smaller than the NA E90's? i cant seem to find a pic of it. i think i am going to have to extend the stock tubing and put this box somewhere close to the axle. i wish it wasn't so damn massive!!

A couple of mins looking through realOEM you would have found out that the 328 & 335 canisters are the same
