I think Patrys does the coding over the internet meaning he has to coordinate with someone who connects the laptop to the car...etc. I'm sure they will make up a schedule so nobody has to wait all day.

I'm just speculating here.

I dislike not being able to use the AUX anymore, it is great feature when friends want to play their own music without having to connect their phones to the car.

The BMW Assist is not big deal to lose, my car is undergroup parking at work and home most of the time, so I can't SMS to it plus it cost $$$ to keep it.

I will start working on how we can do it there, but we need more people.

As for the AUX, with our solution to use the BMW Plugin and Video playback over USB cable you will not be able to use the AUX port, but if your friends have iPhones they can use the USB connection without pairing their phones with your iDrive.

If I want to add the connection for 6NF and the baseplate and wait for the iPhone media adapter, is that possible.
