Gizze, what does it say your 0-100mph is on the I-phone?

How did sytners ruin the D3?

Sytners have to commit to so many cars per year off ALPINA to get the cost per car at a certain price point. So Sytner effectively spec the car. in this instance without climate. Its a car aimed at middle management and i would say most people expect climate control as standard.

100mph??!!! It doesn't get that high!!


I think it says 1/4 mile at 14.7 seconds with a speed of 97mph.

It stops at 1/4 mile, so the highest it reads is 0-90mph from memory.

Its not actually that bad, and at night they are still lit nicely, but as Steve knows I am just bitter!!

I really wanted the D3 Bi-Turbo as my work mile muncher, but I would have like Nav and USB and definitley digital climate.

Originally when I spoke with them they said they were going to put nav in this time as the B3 was standard with it, and at time nearly all 3 series were being specced with nav, more to do with the options pack at 1000 on 3 series though. However, when it came to the specs being released nav was missing, no USB and manual air con.

They then said nav was not expected.
This is only an issue as there is a 2k surcharge to change a single thing on the D3, which starts to make a great car just too expensive.

never got a standard BMW, went directly to alpina and a D3 MT...love it...
