Body shop recommendation in Pasadena?
Can anybody recommend a good body shop in Pasadena? My car was hit in a parking lot. The bumper was scratched and the rear quater pannel was dented. I used Markham and Bolling last time for a similar repair on my last car, and the service and work they performed was terrible. Looking for a better experience this time.

Let me guess, a hit and run in the parking lot?
Call your insurance company and ask them who they recommend or are contracted with. They usually only contract with reputable places and this way if the work is shotty, you have recourse to have it fixed to your liking. BTW, since it wasn't your fault, demand genuine BMW parts, no fix-it jobs, or knock off parts! |

Yes, hit and run in parking lot, no note.
I filed a claim last year for a similar instance only I was at fault last time. I'd rather not file another claim for fear of my rates going up. Plus I have a $500 deductable, so I'd probably only save a few hundred $s. The insurance company recommended the last place, and I was less than sastified. Still looking for a good recommendation.

Your insurance will not go up for a "uninsured motorist" claim that you did not cause.
I have been hit several times by uninsured motorists (all illegals from Mexico) and you do not get your premiums raised from that and do not have to pay the deductible either. But because of people like that we ALL pay for it by the BILLIONS each year...it's called higher insurance rates!! Hit and Run damage should be the same. Just call your insurance company and ask, just don't tell them who you are until you get your answer. |
