they look great on the cars, the sketches at the top at a little boring id say.
But they do look exactly like every other wheel design out there today... If they can bang out fitments to look like on that black 5 series everytime though, they'll have a market

![]() I mean there isn't much that hasn't be done already. If you are ever down here I will take you to both companies so you can see for yourself. ADV.1 is based in Miami built in California. Forged 1 is based in Miami and built in Miami. Send me a message with what you like and i'll quote you. They aren't the most expensive custom wheels but not the cheapest either. Pricing can not be posted in this section or the thread will be closed by the MODS. Last edited by wheeladdicts; 05-01-2011 at 10:01 AM. |

Where'd you come up with those names? Hella thinktank and a big bag of shrooms?
Just kidding. I like how you know what they are by what they are called. One company calls theirs a 6 when it's a 7 and vice versa. Gotta keep it simple or I get lost. |

i wouldn't say "reps"
but they definitely have the same design cues as used to be in the 360 forged that CARRIED OVER to ADV.1 and possibly few months down the line, they'll admit that forged.one is somehow related to them too. But they still look great regardless, 360 forged, crap forged or diamond crap rusted. |

1) The forgings are different. Notably they dont have the dip near the center section like the ADV.1 line. 2) ADV.1 does not offer some of the styles Forged 1 offers and vice versa. 3) ADV.1 did not offer standard forgings until after Forged 1 was released and even then they are slightly different. Basically meaning there aren't many ways to make certain wheel types (mesh, 5 spoke, etc) so yes many will look alike. If you do some research you will notice that many wheels do share some resemblence. The only way to really come out with something "new" looking is usually to make a wheel that not many would put on a BMW (think gaudy, too busy, etc). |

I think Forged line of wheels look great and compliment beemers well. Especially those of us with dark metallic colored paint (Monaco blue here) Yea, theres similar styles out there but #1 you dont want to get too crazy with a classy car manufacturer and #2 its the subtle differences that set them apart.
If only I could get the Seven Mesh in gun metal with a roundel center ![]() |
