new here, just looking atm
hello, im a current honda s2000 owner, but am interested in the new 335i that was recently released (when was it released actually)
anyway, i saw a 335i coupe a few days ago and the way it drove just blew me away, in terms of power that is. also in terms of the tunability potential of it. my experience with bmws has been a e39 528i and a 95 e36 m3 (3l). both nice cars. currently, my brother has a modified audi b5 rs4 and my other brother has a fairly modified evolution9. as far as being the best drivers car, nothing beats the evo. its harsh, its raw, but for what it is, it IS the ultimate driving machine. anyway, there doesnt seem to be many if any places in sydney that tune bmw's? i know that bromspec over at brookvale deal with bmw's, and they did work on a supercharged m5. but where r all the names, dinan, ac schnitzer, hartge, alpina?? there r literally no distributers of their products here. whereas i know that for my brothers audi, u have guys like oettinger, apr, giac, wetterauer, all being available in sydney. am i not looking hard enough? anyway, is this the biggest oz bmw site? hope to hang around if i get a 335 |

Bavariacars in Gladesville are probably the best tuners in Australia for BMW's.
You looking to buy a 335 Coupe new or get a low k demo/second hander? DTM Power has a large Australian section and eurocca.net is another one as well.

i just recently purchased the full AC Schnitzer aerodynamic package for my car, but bought it from overseas. buying locally would cost about 2 times the price

i bought the 1 piece spolier, front splitters for the mtech bumper, and rear difuser for the mtech bumper
i got mine at an average of around 50 - 100 $ cheaper then normal as i got them on sale (i looked last night and they are back to full price again ) but i got them from www.bavauto.com , look at the aerodynamics section and you will see the acs stuff... i think carshine is the local distributer? have a look in the new thread i posted ![]()

As far as tuning goes, I am simply opting for Shiv’s PROcede from the USA. I’ll post a mini-report once it arrives and I install it. I don’t know if this is the biggest OZ BMW site but it is the best. Nicest members too. Cheers. P.S. CaptOz hopes astra notices his new and earnest attempt to stick to the topic. ![]() |
