Help with shift knob!!!

Used to be able to pull manual shift knob out with some force but now can't!!! And I wanna replace it.

Grab a 70lb dumbbell and a bench. Place your left knee and left hand on the bench while holding the dumbbell with your right hand.

Pull the dumbbell towards your chest for 10 reps. Repeat 4 times within 8 minutes. Continue this for 3 weeks and return to shift knob.

Pull knob off and replace.

Lol. Funny. I would say it's more of a bicep workout than the row your describing.

Got it out finally. The lever has a chip/scrape which makes the knob have more friction. Guess changing knobs often screwed it up. doesn't go in as smoothly as it used to.

You should seat yourself on the center of your console (that's if your skinny, haha). Then put the shifter into 6th gear, next grab the knob with both hands and pull hard. That worked for me.
