E90 335d value?

Hi,

I'm looking at a few 08 M3's at the moment and suspect I will get far more for my 335d privately than trading in for the M3. (Resisting going to look at the M3 in the other thread until the OP does!)

Its an E90 December 2006 car, Titanium Silver with Black leather, spec is in signature, but it has all the extra's people expect. Its on 41,000 miles and has just had new rear pads and new Conti SC3's all round. Its also still under an extended Comp warranty.

Anyone have any idea's on what I could realistically achieve. They seem as rare as rocking horse poo with only a handful privately on PH or Auto Trader, with mileages and prices all over the place. Only a few more trade with prices again somewhat variable...

Thanks,
Rich

With xenons and pro nav I'd say you are looking at 16-17k...

I agree 16k trade in, 15k private.

They are rare for a reason.

Pretty useful thread this, what would members value this e90 335d at then? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2853003.htm

It's got higher milege than the OP's. Also what do people think about the spec etc..
Sorry to highjack your thread.

Thanks for your comments. Interesting to see the comment about trade in being higher (16k vs 15k), surely the other way round?

Tempted to list at 17k and see what response I get.

And yes, I know they are rare for a reason, but alas when you are getting a 2 year old and a 6 month old in and out, the two extra doors are useful! My car is now not the family car, hence the move to the M3...

Garage List
'09 M3 (e93)  [5.00]
Seems to be a few people switching to the M3 at the moment - good choice!

So a 335d saloon are rare because people don't like five door car...?

The saloon big diseasal was never a big seller in the private market.

Most were exec or fleet/company lease purchases, which is why they are mostly coupes or touring and highly specced.

However, I would have one. It's a good mix - but then the touring makes more sense...

I bought an AUC 335d a month ago - SE, 57 plate (2008 registered), sparking graphite, cloth, 21k miles. new tyres on rear, newly serviced. Park distance f/r, 18" (not sure which model).

18.5k, dealer.

Sorry, forgot about that - no nav or iDrive. Professional h/u only.
