The handling is good, she's just gutless.

DSC off, box to manual and it was quite alot of fun this morning to be fair with the drier / quiet roads (0600-0645 commute)

I know the core car that this is a superb little package. The spec on this one is very questionable though

Very nice!

I work for MINI and the spec is rather unique, it's got to be a cancelled customer order that the dealer has ran as a Demonstrator/Loan car now

I'm not a fan of the "new" (BMW) Minis.

They're the fashion statement of the decade (along with all things "i") and obviously a bit of a design icon (some would say) but as cars, I find them utterly hateful little things.

I used to have a Mk5 Fiesta Ghia and it was a better car in every way with the exception of the "badge snobbery".

My biggest gripe with them is the utter ridiculous steering, it's over assisted to buggery and it just doesn't feel right.

And the interior layout if just a fucking abortion. It's like someone loaded a shotgun with various switch gear and dials and just blasted the centre console with no thought to how someone would reach half of the switches etc while actually driving the car. Off-centre speedo? Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a sharp kick to the bollocks too.

Maybe the "naughty" ones (C/CS/JCW etc) are a bit better but my thoughts are based on a couple of Ones I've had the (dis)pleasure of driving...

BMW Mini? Thanks but no thanks!

EDIT:

Also, the Countryman? Seriously? WTF?
