I am not sure about other BB phones but one of my customers confirmed that with his BlackBerry Torch he could use the Internet in the iDrive and had messages in the Office menu.

Well I'm senior editor at Symbian-Freak, and I'd love to get some guys working on some apps for us. There's also a Qt to QNX port in the works, so maybe it will be greater later.

I wish the price is affordable/reasonable but too bad with the pricing, I would just trade in for a 2010 E60. Definitely worth it for those 2004s E60.

Do you really think its more affordable to trade in your car. I don't think so. The retrofit is will worth the price and works flawlessly. Precombox functionality really sucks. The combox makes a huge difference. Not only with album art.

More affordable - of course

I get a newer lower mileage car with CIC and extra factory warranty. I guess it depends, if you want to fiddle with the thing while you drive, then, yeah that's great

I just need the CIC with some better features. I don't need to browse using my iDrive while drivng or look at some silly album art which I could care less.

But either way, the new system is great but not worth the retrofit price "for now".

I am definitely down for this if I didn't have the Navi system, or my car is 8yrs old and time to get an update.

Hi, so how much are you guys paying for this retrofit? Because I'm planning to buy a CPO 2008 335i sedan for my son and I want the navi and stuff inside his car, but this seems to have more features than the stock old one. So does anyone know the price range of this retrofit on a 335i sedan that doesnt come with a iDrive?

It will be cheaper to get a 2009 CPO with iDrive, that's for sure.

Just found out about the 6NR Retrofit and it looks like I just missed the Ft. Lauderdale install. Any alternatives for a future upgrade for a 3/2011 Build 335is w Smartphone Integration, iPhone, Nav and the latest cradle. Is there something I can procure from you and install (software/firmware) as I have everything but the 6NR option? Or does this require a h/w retrofit not user installable? I also have a 7/2010 Build 750i with Nav and iPhone- but being a pre- Combox build I presume I would need your professional install for 6NR capability. Sorry for all the ?'s just joined the forum but don't have PM access yet. Regards, Damian

I checked the BMW website and it didn't have the Iphone 4 as a tested phone. Just the 3g and 3gs. Has anyone actually tested this combox stuff out with an Iphone 4? I just now discovered what a combox is am trying to learn all about it

So to get internet with IPhone4, do you have to purchase service through mobile office in addition to tethering/jailbraking? What if you have the combox but no smartphone integration?

The Internet access over your iPhone's data connection does not require any additional services. You will be charged whatever you carrier will charge you for data usage.
The smartphone integration is not needed for the Internet access or the 6NR.
However you need the Combox for this to work.
