Why not? Just hold a mirror to the instructions

Op great write up! Just finished it and I can finally log my data...cable length doesn't need to be anything crazy I have the 6 ft and the cable is long enough to reach the back of the center console in my e92

Op, great DIY. This is super easy, especially with the pictures. I didn't even disconnect the ECU or the Proceed. There is enough slack in the wires to pull them out and put them off to the side. The only thing that was different for me was that the two bolts under the glove box were a T15 Torx instead of a T8. I have a '08 E92, so maybe it's different.

Just used this DIY. Thanks for the pointers.

Can say without a doubt on an E92 M3, it works as advertised

A small tip:

As the cable I needed to route was NOT a USB cable and thus pretty thin and didnt hold its shape like a USB cable does, I used a coat hanger + some tape to assist.

Worked like a charm.

Just make sure to "round" (make a U out of it) the end thats going in.

Thanks again!

I used the info here to install the BimmerTech front camera, worked like a champ! Super clean and easy! Best DIY IMA, plus the pictures were perfect! Used procedures on a 2011 e92 M3.
